Greetings!

I am the Ikkalee part of Megara and Ikkalee and I just thought I’d introduce the blog while Meagan is at work (so that she can come back with a loud sigh about what I have done as a lot of people seem apt to do.) After discussing our views on politics once more, we decided to keep a blog on the upcoming elections (and politics in general). As of now, Meagan, the more conservative of us, is supporting McCain. I, on the other hand, am more liberal (how liberal depends on where you go in the country. In my hometown, it’s moderate. In my collegetown, it’s very). I  voted in the primaries for a candidate still in the running, but as I do not identify with a party, there is a slight chance that could change and, as such, I will not be stating who it was here.

The point of this blog is to not push one particular candidate, but to keep track of politics and the election through the eyes of two college students with varying experiences. While there will be times that we will get biased within our own views, we hope that we will be able to balance each other out and create a well-rounded view of the election as best we can.
